Public Health Graphic

The public health mission is to promote physical and mental health and prevent disease, injury, and disability within groups of people—from small communities to entire nations.

Relying on policy, field, and laboratory research and case surveillance strategies, public health professionals seek to identify, understand, and mitigate conditions ranging from infant mortality, birth defects, and chronic diseases to the consequences of lifecycle choices and the effects of catastrophes such as hurricanes, tornados, and terrorist attacks. TKC Global Public Health Services aggressively contributes to many of these efforts and provides organizations such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) subject matter experts in:

  • Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities
  • Blood Disorders
  • Occupational Safety and Health
  • Environmental Health
  • Epidemiology
  • Ergonomic Engineering

TKC Global expertise includes data collection and statistical analysis, database development for health exposure and outcomes, project coordination and management, programmatic evaluation, risk prevention communications development, and emergency response support at both domestic and international levels.

Our staff is often selected as principal investigators for the development, conduct, and review of research projects. Our research coordinators assist on all aspects of study design and implementation. TKC Global's staff acts as the primary interface between scientific project leadership, project collaborators and laboratories to ensure correct and appropriate sample collection materials are available for teams going into the field. We understand the need to carefully plan each approach, manage the organizational resources, and implement the controls to meet price, performance, and on-time delivery of each of these and many other critical public health services.
